The Vondel Park in winter is a great place to be. In the cold and the damp, people feel less inclined to take a walk in the park, so it’s possible to saunter around there in the morning and enjoy some quiet, empty space.
Head off the main path that encirlces the park and you find beautiful, dark and secretive spots such as this – a little bridge to nowhere.
